We got home from New York to unpack our bags then repack them and take off on a road trip to Hermann MO. Hermann is a little German town on the bluffs of the Missouri river. (known for their vineyards & charming architecture) We were taken with the little town. You could tell it's the kind of place that everyone knows everyone. (I'm sure that's both good & bad) We sampled local wines & beers, ate too much, shopped in folksy antique shops, ran down the giant grassy hill across from our cottage & made some lovely family memories. So many years we have worked over the Memorial Day weekend this year it was so nice to break that tradition! Hope you had fun kicking off your summer too.
